At FoamTec, many of our products are custom-built to order. Because of this, returns require prior authorization and careful coordination to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
Our goal is to handle return requests efficiently while maintaining the quality standards our customers expect.
Return Authorization Required
All product returns must be reviewed and approved by a FoamTec Customer Service Representative before being sent back.
Approved returns will be issued a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number tied to the original order.
Important:
Returns shipped without an authorized RGA number cannot be accepted.
Return Eligibility Timeline

Return requests must be submitted within 60 days of the original shipment date.

Once issued, an RGA number remains valid for 21 days.

Products received after the 21-day window will not be accepted.
We recommend arranging return freight promptly once authorization is granted.
Processing Fee
All approved returns are subject to a minimum 20% processing fee.
This fee helps offset inspection, handling, and restocking costs associated with returned architectural products.
Return Freight Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all freight charges related to returning approved merchandise.
For oversized items such as beams and architectural elements, we strongly recommend working with a professional freight carrier to prevent damage during transit.
Product Condition Requirements
Credits can only be issued once returned products have been:

Received back into inventory

Verified against the issued RGA

Confirmed to be in resellable condition
Products returned damaged, incomplete, or inconsistent with the RGA may not qualify for credit and could incur additional processing charges.
Proper packaging is essential to protect your return.
How Credits Are Issued
Customer credit is typically processed within one week after the returned goods are received and approved.
Credits are issued less the following, when applicable:

Freight charges
-
Damages
-
Concealed shortages

Product discrepancies
Payment deductions are not permitted without an authorized FoamTec credit memo.
